Why Hypnosis?

In a world of constant change, we often find ourselves stuck in a rut or apparently with little or no choice about who we are and what we do.

Have you ever wanted to change one area of your life, which when addressed would cause a major change in all areas of your life?

Hypnosis offers multiple techniques that can release limitations to allow you to realise your ideals. It can provide change at an unconscious level creating desired behaviour that arises automatically.

Let me dispel six of the most common myths that surround hypnosis.

1. The hypnotist will control my mind. No. You control your mind at all times. At no point during any session do you “lose control”.

2. Hypnosis is Black Magic or Supernatural. No. Hypnosis is a natural state studied scientifically. Therapists have no “special powers” and cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do.

3. I have never been hypnotised before.     Yes you have. Every person enters hypnosis naturally just before sleeping and waking. Also while watching TV, driving or being absorbed in a good book.

4. I may not be able to snap out of it.     No, hypnosis is safe, a state of hyper awareness.

5. I cannot be hypnotised, my mind is too strong. No, with modern techniques 100% of the population can be hypnotised to varying degrees.

6. I will lose all sense and not remember the hypnotherapy session. No, hypnosis is not an unconscious sleep. It is a heightened sense of awareness, focus and even hearing.
